Steve Mills returned from college in 1985 to his hometown of Midland, Texas to begin his career with Lantern Petroleum Corporation working for his father, John Mills Sr. He spent two years buying lease crude in Midland and then in 1987 was transferred to Houston where he had multiple roles including lease purchasing, scheduling and trading. In 1994 Steve returned to Midland after taking on the position of Vice President and in 1997 became Executive Vice President overseeing the company until Lantern sold in 2002.

Steve went on to form LPC Crude Oil in 2002 where he and the dedicated management team grew LPC’s assets from 2 trucks to 43 as well as developed and operated 67 miles of pipeline. In 2015 LPC was sold to EnLink Midstream where Steve served as the VP of Crude Oil, West Texas through 2018. 

Daniel Carter began his career in crude oil transportation in 1985 with Lantern Petroleum in Midland, TX. He served in multiple roles of increasing responsibility including dispatch and operations. Daniel recently held the position of VP of Operations for LPC, an EnLink Midstream Company after acquisition of LPC by EnLink in 2015. He oversaw construction and operation of over 60 miles of gathering pipeline and transportation of over 2 million barrels per month on pipelines and trucks. Daniel created and managed a safety and maintenance program for a truck fleet of over 50 trucks and trailers, over 60 miles of gathering pipelines and over 100 drivers. Daniel has most recently been pursuing personal interests and investments since 2018.

Lance Wright began his career in 2010 as a crude oil purchaser with LPC  in Midland, TX. He served as a representative of the company buying crude oil at the lease from Permian Basin producers as well as creating and maintaining sales market relationships with refiners, traders and other marketing entities. Lance was most recently Regional Vice President at EnLink Midstream following their acquisition of LPC in 2015. Prior to working at LPC, Lance trained and showed cutting horses for numerous oil executives in the Midland area. Lance grew up and lives in Midland, TX with his wife Stephanie and their children.

 Steven Goudeau began his career in the oilfield in 2008 where he worked offshore for Champion Technologies, an oilfield chemical company. He served Champion at the field level and subsequently transferred to Midland, TX in 2010 to work in the Permian Basin. Steven was then employed at LPC Crude Oil Marketing in 2011 where he served as a crude oil marketer. Mr. Goudeau joined EnLink Midstream when EnLink purchased LPC in 2015. His responsibilities later grew at EnLink where he became a Sr. Crude Oil Representative. His responsibilities in this role included purchasing and selling crude oil into all major crude oil markets, maintaining customer relationships, and executing growth strategies through business development. Mr. Goudeau attended TCU and graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. Steven and his wife Kelsey currently live in Midland, TX. 

 Derek Shive is a co-founder and the CFO of LPC Crude Oil. Derek has over a decade of crude oil midstream experience most recently serving as a crude oil purchaser in Midland, TX where he was responsible for actively developing relationships with Permian oil producers to provide marketing solutions and supply local sales markets. Prior to that he provided budgeting, financial modeling and analytical support for crude oil commercial decisions. Derek's  career in midstream started with a position in pipeline accounting after graduating from Texas A&M University with a  Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He became a licensed  Texas CPA in 2013 while working at Plains All American in Houston.  Derek lives in Midland, TX with his wife Kady and their children.
